About the role

It’s a great time to be part of the imageseven team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our team, with a strong focus on Elementor-driven builds.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that deliver exceptional user experiences. You’ll work closely with our Design Lab team, project managers, and clients to translate creative concepts into responsive, performant, and visually polished digital outputs.

Whilst your core focus will be on WordPress and Elementor development, you’ll also contribute to broader digital execution and optimisation across projects.

About you

We are looking for a team player who has:

• 3–5 years’ experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency with Elementor Pro, including Theme Builder, dynamic content and custom fields
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and PHP
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom post types/taxonomies
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs
• Great communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Eagerness to learn, grow and stay current with emerging web technologies
• Eligibility to work in Australia

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom WordPress websites using Elementor Pro, including complex layouts and dynamic content
• Develop and customise WordPress themes and child themes aligned to brand and project requirements
• Create reusable Elementor templates, sections, and global widgets to support scalable design systems
• Implement responsive designs that perform seamlessly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices
• Integrate and configure plugins such as ACF, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO and WPML
• Write clean, maintainable custom CSS, JavaScript and PHP to extend functionality
• Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Collaborate with designers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of UI/UX designs
• Manage staging and production environments, including deployments and backups
• Stay up to date with WordPress, Elementor and broader web development trends

Desirable skills

• Experience with WooCommerce customisation
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and deployment tools
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SEO fundamentals
• Experience working within a creative or digital agency environment
