Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Implement clean and responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure website functionality, performance, and security are consistently optimized.
- Apply SEO principles (on-page, technical, and content optimization) to improve organic search ranking.
- Troubleshoot website issues, perform regular updates, and manage backups.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to align website goals with business objectives.
- Conduct website audits to identify and fix technical SEO and UX issues.
- Maintain documentation of website configurations and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with SEO tools and strategies (e.g., Google Search Console, Yoast, SEMrush).
- Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
- Understanding of website security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
