Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
• Create WordPress plug-ins and themes from scratch 
• Manage website development and deployment process
• Implement high-quality CSS and JavaScript animations for interactive UI/UX.
• Optimize websites for mobile, tablet, and desktop responsiveness.
• Work on video animations and integrate them seamlessly within the website.
• Ensure high performance, speed optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
• Collaborate with the design, marketing, customer experience, and technical team to understand and implement their design requirements
• Conceptualizing and developing design ideas
• Discussing project timelines and progress with management
• Staying updated about new developments in software, trends, and practices

To join our team, we require that you: 

• Proficiency in creating WordPress web applications
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector 
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development 
• Hold a bachelor’s degree with a preference for computer science or a related field
• 6+ years’ experience with WordPress related technologies – mostly as part of a development team
• Have a strong portfolio of previous projects
• Are a highly creative and artistic individual with good time management and organizational skills
• Have strong communication skills
• Are a team player and having the ability to work independently
• Are able to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge on react.js or next.js is added advantage
