We're looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and bring our creative visions to life through clean, scalable code.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites from design files
- Build custom themes and plugins to support marketing campaigns and client requirements.
- Implement SEO best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and marketing strategists to bring concepts to life.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform QA testing, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics)
- Maintain version control and deployment workflows (e.g., Git, staging environments)
- Stay current with WordPress trends, security practices, and web technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of WordPress development experience, including custom theme/plugin development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and custom Gutenberg blocks
- Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and custom post types
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agency environment with multiple deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with SEO, performance optimization (Core Web Vitals), and technical site audits is a plus.
- Familiarity with hosting platforms (e.g., Kinsta, WP Engine) and DNS management
Nice to Have
- Experience working with headless CMS or integrating REST APIs
- Knowledge of Shopify or other CMS platforms
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design
