Sr. WordPress Developer (AI-Focused)

We're looking for a Senior WordPress developer who combines deep platform expertise with hands-on AI integration experience. If you build smart, scalable web solutions and are excited about the intersection of WordPress and modern AI tools - this role is for you.

Position: Senior WordPress Developer

Location: EU

Contract: Full-time, remote, B2B

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop full-stack WordPress solutions, including WooCommerce and custom plugin development
• Integrate AI-powered features: chatbots, content automation, personalization engines, smart search, recommendation systems
• Translate design mockups into clean, responsive front-end code (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Optimize site performance, security and scalability
• Collaborate cross-functionally using Git and maintain clear technical documentation

What We're Looking For

Must-have:

• 5+ years of WordPress development (theme/plugin customization, REST API, WooCommerce)
• Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, MySQL
• Full-stack mindset - comfortable from database to UI

Strongly preferred:

• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (OpenAI API, LangChain, AI-driven UX features, or similar)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
• Experience with headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (React/Vue)

Nice to have:

• Magento / Adobe Commerce experience
• Webflow
