Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- SA Citizen residing in Cape Town
- 3-5 years professional experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
- WordPress CMS & API
- PHP
- JavaScript & jQuery
- HTML & CSS
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications precisely
- Experience with ACF and XML content exports
- Ability to name CSS classes logically based on layout and structure
- Someone who writes their own code
- A portfolio or sample project that demonstrates your ability to build custom themes
Responsibilities:
- Develop bespoke WordPress themes using minimal plugins
- Translate design files (provided in XD format) into fully functional WordPress sites
- Implement custom fields using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
- Ensure clean, well-structured code and maintainable CSS
- Export page content and custom fields for easy import via WordPress admin
- Deliver themes as zipped packages ready for deployment
