Role Overview:
We are seeking a WordPress Developer Intern to assist in the creation, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites. This is a remote role, offering a hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge websites and plugins, while enhancing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and customization of WordPress websites, including themes and plugins.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize websites for performance and security.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing layouts.
- Integrate APIs and third-party tools as required for website functionality.
- Perform website updates, including adding new content and features.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and tools.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery is a plus.
