Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  

• Work on custom web development projects and ensure high-quality delivery.
  

• Handle BigCommerce store setup, customization, and maintenance.
  

• Develop and maintain web applications using CakePHP.
  

• Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive WordPress themes.
  

• Integrate third-party APIs and custom functionalities.
  

• Optimize website speed, performance, security, and SEO.
  

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project goals.
  

• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
  

• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  

• Experience with custom theme & plugin development.
  

• Knowledge and experience with BigCommerce and CakePHP.
  

• Familiarity with WooCommerce customization and payment gateway integration.
  

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with other CMS platforms like Shopify or Joomla.
  

• Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress.
  

• Basic knowledge of React or Vue.js.
