Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications.
- Create and modify eCommerce, dynamic, and static websites using WordPress.
- Ensure website performance, security, and overall optimization.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites function across devices.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, updates, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in WordPress: Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and development.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP: Experience with front-end and back-end technologies.
- Theme Customization: Ability to customize and modify WordPress themes.
- Plugin Customization: Experience customizing and developing WordPress plugins.
- eCommerce Development: Experience with WooCommerce or similar platforms to build eCommerce websites.
- Dynamic & Static Websites: Proven track record of developing both dynamic and static websites.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization, SEO best practices, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
Preferred:
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both clients and internal teams.
