WordPress Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Wordpress Developer to work with designers and other team members to build out new WP sites.

About you
You are someone who wants to influence your own development. You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests and be able to grow professionally. 

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years working in WordPress themes, plugins, or similar CMS. 
• 3+ years creating web applications with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. 
• Comfortable writing front-end code that’s responsive, cross-browser compatible, and maintainable. 
• Detail-oriented and resourceful in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Maintain and provide ongoing support of existing code bases. 
• Assisting with project estimation and planning 
• Participate in the development of code test plans, QA testing, issue tracking and resolution. 
• Work to define project plans, maintain project timelines and achieve established milestones in an accurate and timely manner. 

Qualifications

Languages: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
