Our client is a digital marketing agency specializing in performance-driven online advertising, primarily through Google Ads. They help businesses from small local shops to global brands, maximize ROI through expertly managed campaigns across Google, social media, and other digital platforms. They also offer SEO services and help clients resolve Google Ads account suspensions.


About the Role: 

We're hiring a WordPress Website Developer to join our client's remote team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of WordPress, solid technical skills, and an eye for good website aesthetics. You’ll work on maintaining and evolving our client's own website as well as making ongoing improvements and fixes for multiple client sites.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage ongoing maintenance and updates for our client’s website and client websites.
• Build and modify responsive, visually clean pages using WordPress.
• Detect and remove malware or suspicious files from websites.
• Handle regular maintenance and fixes for 2–10 client websites (primarily WordPress-based).
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
• Optimize websites for speed and performance.
• Provide internal technical support for the team.
• Stay up to date with trends in WordPress development and website best practices.

• 3+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, theme and plugin customization.
• Experience detecting and removing malware and suspicious code/files.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of technical SEO and website performance optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting.
• Strong written English comprehension for internal communication.
• Experience with Avada is a plus
• Experience with additional CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, Wix, Webflow) is a bonus.

• Salary $3,000 USD Monthly.
• Able to work full-time CST hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm CST).
• Unlimmited PTO
• Contract: Independent Contractor
