Senior WordPress Developer

A globally regulated, multi-asset brokerage committed to delivering secure, transparent and innovative trading solutions is looking to hire a senior WordPress Developer for their Fintech team. 

You know WordPress inside-out. Youve tweaked the core, mastered hooks, and built more custom themes than you can count. But lately, the projects feel... repetitive. You're not here to do template tweaks. You're ready to lead technical builds that demand real thinking, real collaboration, and deliver real performance.

You'll be joining a fintech business that supports serious traders the kind of clients who expect speed, security, and precision. That means the work you do matters. From API integrations to performance optimization, everything you touch shapes the front-facing product experience.

You'll get stuck into:

• Building and maintaining bespoke themes and plugins (not downloading from the

  repo and calling it done)

• Translating Figma/XD designs into responsive, pixel-perfect builds

• Integrating REST APIs and third-party systems (CRMs, analytics, payments the works)

• Making Core Web Vitals happy and boosting SEO without fluff

• Crafting custom blocks and content architecture using ACF or Gutenberg

• Debugging like a boss across PHP, JS, and MySQL

• Version-controlling everything in Git, because it works on my machine isn't good enough

• Collaborating with designers and frontend devs who actually get UX

You'll need to bring:

• 5+ years of WordPress development experience freelance or agency, as long as its real

• A deep understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JS (ES6+)

• Experience with ACF, Elementor, and the guts of WordPress core

• SQL skills that don't rely on Google every time

• Solid knowledge of performance, security, and SEO best practices

• Independence, attention to detail, and clean, maintainable code

Bonus points for:

• WooCommerce or subscription/membership builds

• Multi-language setups (WPML, Polylang, etc.)

• Accessibility know-how and strong UX sensibility
