For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills: 

  • 6 years of experience as a PHP/WordPress Developer
  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including building custom plugins from scratch and evaluating third-party plugins to meet specific project requirements.
  • Strong custom theme development skills using frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, with a solid command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to write secure, clean, and maintainable PHP code following industry best practices and development standards.
  • Proficiency with Git for source code versioning and collaborative development workflows.
  • Comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams on projects spanning multiple and varied business domains, with Symfony knowledge considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English (B1)

     

  • Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Porto office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
