WordPress Developer

Nexlab is a digital design and development agency catering to a worldwide client base. We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong technical competence. The ideal applicant will be passionate about creating cutting-edge, fast, safe, and accessible web experiences on the WordPress platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and publish user-intuitive and responsive websites.
• Convert Adobe XD/Figma designs into pixel-perfect websites.
• Custom WordPress theme development from scratch with total user editability, intricate layouts, and plugins that demand theme customization.
• Shopify web development and theme customization.
• Website speed, plugin, content, and responsiveness optimization.
• Design and optimize web solutions by putting best practices, standards, and procedures into practice.
• Accountability and strict adherence to deadlines.
• Report Generation in terms of ETA, costing, and analytics.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in WordPress and Shopify theme customization.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Gulp, Webpack, and SCSS/LESS.
• Mandatory knowledge in jQuery, CMB2 and Advanced Custom Fields (ACV).
• Experience in UI design on Figma/Adobe Xd.
• Experience in Bootstrap and React will be considered a plus.
• English language proficiency.
• Team player with a likeable personality and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to work on several projects at once with minimal supervision.
