WordPress Developer

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in building, enhancing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients. You will work closely with our web team and other stakeholders to ensure that the websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress development, front-end technologies, and best practices to create engaging online experiences that align with our clients' brand identities and objectives.

Job Expectations

•  Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to develop WordPress-based websites from concept to completion.
• Customize and configure WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Perform regular website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security enhancements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in WordPress development, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our clients' online presence.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). (preferred)
• Proven experience working as a WordPress Developer, 
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development, customization, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery/React, and responsive design principles.
• Solid understanding of PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of website security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
