Job description
We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Skill fully deploy new themes and plugins within our active production environment, ensuring a smooth transition that maintains operational excellence and minimises disruption.

Uphold the highest standards of website performance by ensuring that our digital offerings are functional and responsive across all devices while also being optimised for speed and search engine visibility.

Tackle and troubleshoot a wide array of web application errors, debugging with precision and efficiency to maintain our reputation for reliability and user satisfaction.

Work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure that all web development initiatives are in harmony with our brand's vision and customer engagement goals.
Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in PHP, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including theme and plugin development

A robust portfolio showcasing your skills in both front-end and back-end development, with a history of deploying successful web projects

Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality web solutions

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams

Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
