Wordpress Backend Developer with complete hold on development/Customizations of Complex Wordpress Plugins/sites. 

 
‍Eligibility Criteria: 
Min Experience: 2-4yrs 
Qualification: B.Tech (CSE/IT) preferred, BCA/MCA/BSC/MSC IT Considerable with min 75% in 10th/12th/Graduation 

Communication Skills: Good understanding in English Reading & Writing expected. Speaking will be a plus 
Location: Fully Onsite Position at our Mohali (Punjab) office. 

Remuneration: No Bar in Salary. 
Working days/time: Mon-Friday (9am to 6pm) 
 
Responsibilities : 

  • Develop and maintain responsive and visually appealing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins that align with design specifications and user expectations. 
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to translate wireframes, mockups, and requirements into fully functional web features. 
  • Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript while ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices. 
  • Customize and extend WordPress functionalities through PHP coding, custom post types, custom fields, and API integrations. 
  • Optimize website performance by employing best practices in coding, image optimization, caching, and server-side performance improvements. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and other technical problems that may arise on existing websites. 
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites with new content, features, security patches, and plugin updates. 
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate. 
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal development processes, coding standards, and best practices. 
  • Expertise in Database Architecture design in MySQL 
  • Must have good hold on best practices of theme and plugin creation. 
  • Must have expertise with woo-comerce hooks and functions. 
  • Strong hold on Javascript, JQuery and Ajax

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of PHP code for WordPress
  • Adequate knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.
  • An understanding of WordPress's built-in features.
  • Adapting WordPress to provide particular functionality
  • Creation of custom post types and developing plugins and widgets in accordance with WordPress code guidelines.
  • Writing reusable, logical, clear, and well-documented code.
  • Theme and template integration
  • It is necessary to be familiar with the WordPress Network (Multisite).
  • Confident with debugging software such as Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
  • The capacity to comprehend CSS alterations and their effects to guarantee uniformity of design across platforms and browsers.
  • Capability of creating functional HTML pages from detailed layout and wireframes
  • Experience using and interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of code hosting platform for version control and collaboration (such as GitHub and bitbucket).

  • Experience with SSO Integration 
  • Malware removal knowledge in Wordpress 
  • Understanding of SEO optimized sites 
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/Docker 
  • Understanding of Frontend and API’s 
  • Experience with SCSS, Tailwind CSS,  
  • Experience with Zapier/Hubspot/SMS API integration etc
