JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with a strong background in PHP and WordPress frameworks to join our team. You will work closely with our designers and back-end developers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how to create user-friendly interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop responsive, efficient, and accessible front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
Implement best practices for performance, usability, and SEO.
Test and debug cross-browser, cross-device compatibility.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to transform designs into functional user interfaces.
Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, particularly within the WordPress ecosystem.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
Experience with PHP and WordPress themes and plugin development.
Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of SEO best practices for web development.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Knowledge of WooCommerce and experience with eCommerce websites.
Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
Basic understanding of MySQL and database management.
Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel is a plus.
