Overview:
The role of a WordPress Developer is crucial to our organization as they are responsible for designing and implementing websites for our clients using the WordPress platform. They play a key role in ensuring that our clients have an engaging and effective online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing custom themes and plugins for WordPress
- Customizing WordPress sites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Integrating third-party APIs and web services
- Collaborating with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting
- Implementing security measures to protect websites from cyber threats
- Creating and managing website databases
- Providing technical support and training to clients as needed
- Staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to WordPress
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Expertise in PHP and MySQL
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines
