Position Description:
We are looking for a WordPress template building guru. You will help the team with finishing some website projects theyβre currently working on.
Our Client is in the USA, so we expect that you are comfortable working from around 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Our ideal candidate is someone our Client can work with, learn from, experiment with, and who genuinely cares about their business and their clients.
Your Day-to-Day:
We have a project with a tight timeline for delivery (end of the year) and we need someone dependable who won't need a lot of learning curve, who will help a team to knock this project out.
Developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress sites
Developing custom themes and plugins
Migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress
Optimizing for page speed of WordPress sites
Understanding SEO/CRO best practices in WordPress sites
Transforming complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect presentation layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
Creating responsive website designs
Working under tight deadlines
Handling multiple projects at the same time
Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
What You Bring to the Team:
Strong knowledge of WordPress Platform
Expertise in WordPress Custom Theme Development and Plugin Development
Expertise in WP Plugin Integration (WooCommerce, WPML, Membership plugins etc)
Should understand how to make WordPress manageable from admin panel
Understands WP architecture and knows how to perform database and code optimization for WordPress
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX
A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
Understanding of W3C Web Standards/Semantics and Accessibility Guidelines
Great attention to detail, highly organized
A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
Minimum 1,5 years of commercial experience in WordPress Development

Good written and spoken Russian or Ukrainian
- English will be a plus
A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone, and speakers, reliable internet and power
Conditions:
- Temporary contract of two-three months' duration, which may be extended
- 100% remote, full-time job
- Working schedule ideally 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
