Job Overview

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team at MagniGeeks Technologies Private Limited. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites using WordPress themes and plugins. You will play a key role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs and objectives. This is a junior-level position, and we are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in WordPress development. The position is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web standards
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug code
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities

Expert knowledge of CMS integration of WordPress

Experience of working with virtual servers is a must

Expert in customizing plugins

Proficient in creating customized plugins

Platform functions, limitations and syntax expertise is a mandatory

Ability to integrate blank themes, and make sites dynamic from scratch

Ability to completely customize themes

Expertise in HTML5/CSS3/Media queries

Expertise in Javascript , Jquery. Knowledge in Joomla

Good skills in WordPress theme/ WP core / WP Query customization

Good knowledge in WordPressplug-in integration and responsive design

Build a plugin for WordPress website based on requirements

Support our existing WordPress website for enhancements and upgrades

Demonstrate experience in developing professional responsive themes Demonstrate experience in developing WordPressplug-ins

Problem solving skill.

Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines

Responsibilities and Duties

Communicating with client and providing value addition in defining new features or updating existing features.

Understanding of both frontend and backend of WordPress

Understand REST API’s and their integration into WordPress.
