Wordpress Developer
We are looking for experienced Wordpress Developer who have experience in both back-end and front-end development, including creating Wordpress themes and plugins.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, implementing and maintaining new features and functionality on Wordpress designed website.
- Establishing and guiding the website architecture to ensure that the designed website meets the client s needs, industry standards and client budget.
- Managing all the technical aspects of CMS (Content Management System) to ensure the system is high-performance, readily available and with minimum technical challenges.
- Designing the website back-end to ensure the backup and server integration are well managed.
- Collaborating with the creative team to formulate an effective and responsive.
- Ideas and turning the ideas into website theme, plugin or other website aspects.
- Building website front-end and conducting website performance tests to ensure the website performance is optimized.
- Manage and monitor the performance of a live website.
- Prepare and maintain the transferable code. Ensuring all the steps, performance tests, quality-control tests, and reusable codes are well maintained for easy transferability.
Skills:
- 1+ years of proven work experience as a Wordpress Developer
- Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and or web applications.
- Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector etc.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN and Mercurial
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
