Job Description:
As a WordPress Developer at our startup, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our websites built on the WordPress platform. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
2. Designing and building the website front-end.
3. Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
4. Generating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
5. Conducting website performance tests.
6. Troubleshooting content issues.
7. Conducting WordPress training sessions with clients.
8. Monitoring the performance of live websites.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Understanding of website security best practices.
- Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
