Role Description
This
is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Back-End Developer. Our timings are
from 04:00 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. in order to cater to our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins,
ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance.
· Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing
elements using server-side logic.
· Customize and extend existing WordPress functionality to meet
project requirements.
· Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code while adhering
to industry best practices.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize WordPress websites to ensure
optimal performance.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and
technologies to enhance development processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and
ship new features.
· Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
with the team.
· Implement security best practices to protect websites from
potential vulnerabilities.
· Provide technical support and address issues related to
WordPress backend development.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer or similar
role.
· Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
· Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
· Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS,
JavaScript/jQuery).
· Solid understanding of web development best practices,
performance optimization, and security principles.
· Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight
deadlines.
· Experience with headless WordPress development.
· Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
· Previous experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
