Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify eCommerce stores, including theme customization, plugin integration, and app development.
- Create, update, and manage WordPress websites, including theme and plugin development, and ensure they are optimized for performance and security.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and adhere to best practices for SEO and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate solutions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration.
- 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin creation.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms or CMS is a plus.
