Job Description:

We are seeking a talented WordPress Backend Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend functionality of WordPress websites, including custom plugins, themes, and database integration. The ideal candidate should possess strong PHP programming skills, extensive experience with WordPress development, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend functionality of WordPress websites.
• Create and implement CRUD operations in PHP for data manipulation.
• Utilize object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts to write efficient and reusable code.
• Work with JavaScript to enhance user interactions and dynamic content on websites.
• Utilize MySQL database for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Write loops, functions, classes, and inherited classes to optimize code structure and performance.
• Implement database queries with joins for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Develop custom plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress websites.
• Design and develop custom themes for WordPress websites based on client requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and WordPress objects to enhance website functionality.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming language.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and its application in projects.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for frontend enhancements.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database management.
• Ability to write loops, functions, classes, inherited classes, and database queries with joins.
• Experience in creating custom plugins and themes for WordPress.
• Familiarity with third-party APIs and WordPress objects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
