About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager with expertise in WordPress Development to lead the development and optimization of our web platforms. This role combines product management skills with technical expertise in WordPress to deliver a scalable, user-friendly, and innovative platform for our Wellness 360 Program and eCommerce store.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress Development
- Develop and optimize the WordPress platform for seamless user experiences.
- Customize themes, plugins, and functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Ensure website scalability to handle thousands of users as the platform grows.
- Implement SEO-friendly structures and ensure site speed optimization.
- Maintain site security, backups, and updates for a stable platform.
Product Management
- Define and manage the product roadmap for the WordPress platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and design, to align platform features with business goals.
- Gather user feedback and analytics to improve website usability and engagement.
- Prioritize and deliver features based on business impact and user needs.
- Oversee MVP development and transition to scalable models post-launch.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
- Experience with tools like WooCommerce, Elementor, and LMS plugins.
- Ability to manage user experience (UX) and implement user-centered designs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to align cross-functional teams.
- Experience in startup environments with equity-based roles is a plus.
