Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom and implementing themes in websites for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and other developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality websites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on requirements and design specifications.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to add new features, improve performance, and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with our design team to implement responsive and visually appealing website designs that align with client branding and objectives.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and other best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development processes and capabilities.
Should have:
- Extensive WordPress Implementation Experience
- Excellent programming skills
- Experience of theme customization
- Experience of WooCommerce
- Good in WordPress theme development
- Good debugging skills
- Experience of multiple CMS platforms and/or MVC frameworks
- Experience using MySQL database ACF, Elementor (optional), Gutenberg, Custom Posts Creation, Plugin Customization & Development.
- Knowledge of how to interact with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus object oriented programming
