We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance WordPress Developer to collaborate with our team on enhancing and maintaining our website and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites to align with DSS’s business needs and branding guidelines.
• Implement new features, functionalities, and plugins to improve user experience and performance.
• Optimise website performance, ensuring fast loading times and SEO-friendly architecture.
• Conduct regular site updates, including content, themes, plugins, and security patches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, or errors in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with our marketing and design teams to ensure seamless integration of UX/CX best practices.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving site scalability and functionality.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of high-quality WordPress projects.
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and advanced customisation tools.
• Proficient in optimising websites for performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of website security best practices and ability to implement them.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce) and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and CDNs.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
