We are seeking an experienced Freelance WordPress Developer to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 6 years of extensive experience in WordPress development, with a strong focus on the logical aspects rather than just the CMS.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize WordPress plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality and performance.
• Improve the overall performance and security of WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
• Optimize website code and assets for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure high-quality code and adhere to best practices in WordPress development.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and WordPress updates.
Requirements:
• 5 to 6 years of proven experience as a WordPress developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Extensive experience in developing and customizing WordPress plugins.
• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and core functionality.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to improve website performance and security.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress theme development.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
