As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a crucial part of a dynamic team that is committed to automating processes and managing both our Cloud and on-premise infrastructure on a daily basis.
You will innovate, come up with new solutions and act as the link between various (development) teams and our hosting partners, ensuring flawless operations and acting as a resource for colleagues.
Your involvement in automating the release process and managing development environments is invaluable to us and the other teams. In short, we offer a role where you can make a difference!
Who are you?
We are looking for a DevOps engineer who values efficiency and changes contexts easily. You are strong in collaboration and partnership, and able to drive change in a large organization.
You are eager to learn, hands-on and service-oriented. You take ownership of your work and are aware of security risks, regulations and compliance. You collaborate with your team members to broaden your knowledge, while maintaining a general overview of the DevOps team’s work.
You have a general overview of the work of the DevOps team and take on the training/coaching of team members. You are basically on-call for everything and sporadically standby on a voluntary basis for service interruptions outside office hours. What are your skills?
- You have 3 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- You can develop and manage cloud environments, manage CI & Data platforms, and build pipelines.
- You are innovative and keep an overview when escalating alerts.
- You have programming/scripting experience and can lead by influencing, even though this is not a management role.
- You are a team player who can clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience with monitoring tools, Linux, Bash, CI platforms, containerisation (management), ICT operations, DevOps or as a Software Developer is a plus.
